New MIDI module?

Not a big thing, but this: http://www.sensomusic.com/forums/viewto ... 5480#p5480 got me thinking that sometimes a MIDI message "unpacker" module could come in handy. By "unpacker" I don't mean like the unpack on the MIDI In, which queues the messages so that only one is sent per execution block (or is that only NoteOns?), it's just that I can't think of another good name right now...

What I'm thinking of is a module with a MIDI input and separate outputs for channel, message etc just like the MIDI Input module, giving access to these values for "internal" MIDI as well.

The 'midi/midi tools/get midi message' script is very close to the module you describ.We just have to add the 'channel' outlet.

Also, the 'unpack' module as to be created because it can be useful to handle midi msg from the piano roll.

Oooops - had forgotten about that one. I think I can create an updated Get Midi Message in the not to distant future.

the v4.0 will include an improved version of 'get midi msg' script and a new 'unpack'.
