in automation , i mean when you choose to record only for example track 2 in the record window, could be usefull to stop the play for other tracks ( low cpu and no click with my little celeron 3000 , i know i can do it manually but you know ...musicians are lazy boys

no , i mean stop the play of the tracks unused , cause the mute function don't reduce cpu usage..stop the play , yes
