The way I work with presets in usine is I pre set all presets to the same default initial settings so I always start from the same place, but sometimes I like to work with different variations of the current project,so it would be very usefull to me if there was a way to copy a preset from a slot in a preset manager to another slot, or preferably even the ability to copy the preset slot to another preset mangers slot. Also, this could give me an excellent method of reorganizing my presets for live use.
I guess I am hoping for a bit more of the conductor features in presets...

hi gurulogic,
from what i understand, the problem is that each preset manager have his own list of module who they take care.
there is very little chance (if any) to have two preset manager with the same list.
But what you mean is perhaps to have the possibility to copy from a preset manager of a workspace to the same preset manager of a 'next version' workspace (but what if you modified some of the module the preset manager take care of ?)
what i do usually is that i reserve the 0 preset to the default values, and copy from that
Hope it help

The very basic preset manager functions that should be so easy to understand always confuses me for some reason.
I think I can already do exactly what I was asking. Uuuuuhh, sorry for wasting forum space
Back to pretending I know what I am doing...
