As much as I really like the way the current vst version works I'm thinking it would be nice to also a "Lite" vst/vsti that would be suitable for managing/using single patches, vst's or vsti's with minimal system overhead.I'm thinking only one audio in and out, (maybe leave up to eight outputs available as an option for VSTI's or surround processing?)
Ditch the sequencer and any other parts of the program not necessary for running a single patch within a host and get a lean mean single purpose vst that could be inserted multiple times, which would also have the added benefit of allowing the host to more efficiently distribute cpu load when running multiple independant patches.

Does this sound like a good idea?

you can already create a VST lite version :
drag&drop the vst while press the [ctrl] key.

I know that in some situations it can be interesting to have a lite version of usine vst.
But I need time for that.

Ok, well if it ever happens, I will probably make use of it. Thanks for listening!
