I know that you can bind two controls in usine with a pair of onlyIfChanged modules. But if the two controls are in different patches and connected by sends, it is very easy to get 'flicker' where two values chase themselves from one control to another. To eliminate this possibility can require some pretty complicated scripting.
Max has lots of facilities for binding controls and values so they are constant wherever they appear in the wkp, and you can change one, and it will manifest the change the other without problems. Sure would be nice to have in Usine....

I don't know actually how it will be in the v6 but we are working on a generalized binging, included buses, network, physical properties, etc...
